Incident Communications Solutions (ICS) Demonstrates pCom™ 355 at National Hurricane Conference in Orlando, Florida

Incident Communications Solutions, LLC (ICS), an IP-Centric mobile and tactical communication solutions provider, demonstrated its newest self-contained communication solution delivered in partnership with Squire Tech Solutions, LLC. Unveiled during the 2009 National EMEX Conference, the ICS pCom™ 355 is the latest in a line of comprehensive, turnkey communications solutions which include the TICS® Tactical Incident Communications System, the Comms-ONE® SUV and other Mobile Command Systems featuring advanced IP networking and communications.

Building upon the strengths and versatility of the pCom™ 300, developed by Squire Tech Solutions, this first-of-its-kind self contained site power, lighting, tower, and communications mobile infrastructure system offers a seven day on-board diesel fuel supply, power generation system, auto-acquisition satellite antenna, NEMA4X equipment enclosure, and pneumatic tower on a robust small trailer-based platform. The ICS pCom™ 355 builds upon this platform and adds features and functionality providing comprehensive communications interoperability and key capabilities for Public Safety, Military and Civilian Federal markets

ICS pCom 355 technical highlights:

The ICS pCom 355 system provides subscriber users complete flexibility in communication and supports capability for the following:
•24 – 10/100 PoE Ethernet Ports supporting computers and IP Phones
•2 – 1000-Base-T Multimode Fiber Ports for Downstream Outrigger™ Connectivity
•Integrated Cisco Unified Callmanager Express IP Phone Switch with Tactical-Voice™
•Integrated 802.11 B/G Wireless Access Point
•2 Analog FXO ports suitable for connection to the PSTN or other Satellite-based resources (such as Iridium or SkyTerra)
•2 Cellular Gateway Modules (customer selectable carrier).
•4 Analog FXS ports suitable for connecting analog telephony devices
•Integrated iDirect 3100 Series Satellite Modem for Tactical-IP™
•Integrated AVL Antenna Control Unit and RF Connector Panel
•Standard TICS Outrigger Network Extension Module™ with an additional 24 10/100 PoE Ethernet Ports and 1000’ Tactical Fiber Uplink
•Raytheon JPS ACU-M Interoperability Switch with Motorola XLT-2500 Base Radios (upgradeable to ACU-2000)
