In the event a client terminates within 30 days from initial activation of services, Squire Tech Solutions will refund the cost of the purchase price of the equipment less a 15% restock fee and release client from service contract term. Client must have submitted a trouble ticket, and Squire Tech Solutions must have not been able to meet its stated Service Level Agreement for the services purchased. Client must not be in violation of the services Terms and Conditions for a specific service when submitting trouble ticket to return equipment under the guarantee.Refund will be provided once equipment has been returned to Squire Tech Solutions in like new condition. De-installation and return shipping charges may apply if client requires Squire Tech or a third party hired by Squire Tech to remove the equipment. No refunds are available for original installation and shipping charges. Squire Tech Solution’s services utilize TCP Accelerated processes powered by iDirect Technologies. TCP Accelerated technology is impacted by IPSec VPN applications over a satellite link and is not grounds for return of equipment and cancellation of service contract for Squire Tech Solutions services. If IPSec VPN applications are required, Squire Tech Solutions does offer a Teleport Hosting Service where the customer may collocate an IPSec VPN Appliance at the teleport to provide a secure link.  Fees may apply to this collocation service offering.

Needs Summary:  

 The University of Southern California Office of public safety, led by Chief Carey Drayton, required mobile communications capabilities for responders “on scene” during or after an emergency event.  Independence of local infrastructure was a critical requirement ideally with its own power generation, deployable communications tower, radio repeating system, Internet, secure Wi-Fi Access, and traditional telephone line services. The objective was to be operational in under 10 minutes of arrive on scene.

USC Public Safety Requirements:

The pCom^® is a mission critical Mobile Powered Communications developed and manufactured by Squire Tech Solutions.  This system is a mid-duty single axle trailer designed for critical deployments in often the most extreme environments.  pCom^® features an onboard 10KW generator with 100 gallon diesel fuel cell, a large storage compartment, and a NEMA 4X rated equipment bay with two professional grade communications equipment racks. The pCom^® comes standard with a 30’ pneumatic mast (up to 50’), an auto-acquire VSAT satellite antenna system, long range wireless access point, and an infrastructure designed for adding critical system.  pCom^® comes equipped with broadband satellite Internet,  a phone gateway, and networking components while the rest of the bay is available for customers and integrators to equip the pCom^® to meet their specific needs.

Dallas, TX – Squire Tech Solutions LLC, announced today it has joined the EDGE® Innovation Network, a collaborative, open-environment initiative enabling industry and academia, with government input, to work together to field new technologies and innovative capabilities to warfighters and first responders much faster than the typical acquisition cycle.

 ”Squire Tech Solutions mobile response division designs and develops satellite leveraged communications systems for mobility applications,” said Michael Zalle, vice president of Squire Tech Solutions. “We are excited to be joining other industry leading technology companies who see their products benefiting the warfighter as well as in the domestic and international first responder community.”

Sponsored by General Dynamics C4 Systems, the EDGE has already delivered several innovations including a Soldier Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) Receiver or SIR to the U.S. Army. About the size of a Blackberry®, the SIR device delivers real-time streaming video directly from multiple manned or unmanned assets directly into the hands of soldiers on the ground. Currently, there are over 10 projects in development intended to improve and enhance warfighter capabilities.

Pete Palmer, EDGE Innovation Network director, said, “The EDGE bridges gaps between end-user needs and current capabilities by promoting rapidly prototyped solutions that could close those gaps quickly. By applying the EDGE process, the government can quickly and cost-effectively review multiple options for users to evaluate in months rather than years.”
